"Waiting for Christmas"

We had just finished putting up the Christmas tree.

Shannon, age 4, sighing, "We are still waiting for Christmas."

Congratulation day

While playing the game of Life,

Taylor, age 8, "It's Congratulation Day!"

Mom, "You mean Graduation Day?"

Shannon, age 3, "Mom, this is a great idea. Eating"

All by myself

Shannon, age 3, "Daddy, I made a big poop all by myself!"

Broken

The kids were rough housing in the front room. All of a sudden, there's a huge crash, and Shannon starts crying.
Mom,"Did you break something?"
Shannon, age 3, "Yes. My head!"

Splendid

Elizabeth, age 6, "This is a splendid toy!"

WHERE did she learn that word?!

Life Will Change

H-girl (6) to Mom (30):  When you're 31, life will change because I'll be older then and will help out like I don't do now.

No, not ever!

Shannon, age 3, "You know what this story is about?"
Mama, "The fact that you can't sit still?"
Shannon, "No! Not ever."

Kissing!

Taylor, age 8, (angrily) "You said you wouldn't kiss me!"

Elizabeth, age 6, "I said I wouldn't kiss you on the cheek or the lips."

Brain

Dad, "If anything touches your brain, I'm going to be worried."
Elizabeth, age 6, "Like a telephone pole, yeah!"

Purpletello

While praying for a family member, Elizabeth, age 6, "And bless Carli in Purpletello."

It should have been Pocatello....
